Brothers, Today we, Wayne Heidtke and myself, had the honor & privilege to visit the resting place of a fallen Brother, Donald Lloyd Meehan. We met with his sister Diane and she showed us the only 2 photos she has of her brother and said she wished she had more. If any of you C Company guys were in country in 70 & 71, knew Donald & would have any photos of or with him I know she would really appreciate them.

So sorry to hear of Bill Stemen's passing. Thank you for letting us know Jeff. I enjoyed visiting with Bill at our 2012 Reunion in Branson very much.

hello brothers , are any of you guys in the veterans choice program ??? they tell me i have to get all appointments and doc visits pre approved , every time i go to the doc , if he needs blood , i have to call the toll free number and get there permission every time . sense i have been in there program i have had over 1,000 dollars worth of bills sent to me , because my doctor did not call in ,and get there permission. sorry guys but this is not going to work . hell i cant remember to call in for every dam thing . the only things the doctor's and the choice program people have in common is they are all getting paid , i am not . i dont think its going to last guys so dont give up your medicare. welcome home brothers :bonk: :mad:

Hello to all of my 589th Brothers. Sorry to hear that two of our Brothers past away. I know that Rufus Hill and Charlie Klotz are in heaven building roads for the great master of all. They will build roads for us to follow. May God bless there families.

Carp, you said a lot about a great guy! My thoughts and prayers are with his family. I, too was very glad to see him this past year at the reunion. He was the PLT SGT of the EM PLT when I first got to Nam and he was a big help as I was broke in. It reasons like this that we all need to keep coming to the reunions and inviting everyone we know to come also. Hope to see you all again in September! Welcome Home!
