Great news about both Dave and Bob! So glad they are both on the mend and working t joining us at the next reunion! Thoughts and prayers are with them and any Brothers we have not yet heard about!

Just got off a Facetime call with Bob! Boy was it good to hear and see him again. He looks good and the conversation went well. He is eating and walking a bit so that's an improvement. Memory seemed pretty good to me but he says he still struggles with it. Lke I told him though, none of your 589th Brothers have the memory they did at 40 either. I hope he's out of the woods.

David has attended almost every one of our reunions and is just one of those guys you enjoy being around. Every reunion brings me closer to my 589th Brothers and this one even more.

Bob Spencer Update:

Spoke to Glenda today and Bob is doing much better. She is trying to get him approved to go to a rehab facility in Billings but has run into some difficulty with getting the VA to approve the Billings location. He is speaking much better now and is hoping he will be able to eat something now that he has passed the swallow test. I am looking forward to having a call with Bob tomorrow. She says he is getting pretty damn ornery at times so that sounds encouraging!!!!

More tomorrow...I hope.

Bob Spencer Update from Glenda:

Good morning. So they moved Bob but didn’t tell me so have been chasing my tail. They moved him to a transitional part of the hospital where people go when out of ICU. His memory is in the toilet. I hope it returns. He didn’t know my name but I did wake him up. It may take a few more days. He has a bright room and is stable. They are going to do a swallow test today and if that goes well they will start giving him some food.

On another note it was another great Reunion! We had an awesome time just being together with our Brothers and guest! Can't wait for next year already!

Bob Spencer update.

Talked to Glenda today and she says Bob is improving and may be moved from ICU to a regular hospital bed. He is alert and breathing on his own. He's talking a litte more each day.

Sorry to hear Bob is not well! My thought's and prayers are with him and his family!

Wanted to let everyone know that Bob Spencer has been life flighted from Cody WY to Billings MT. Cody couldn’t address the severity of his issues. He came in with severe pneumonia and has been sedated for the last 2 days but Glenda says they will probably wake him up tomorrow. We will hopefully know more then.

I want to thank everyone who worked so hard to organize our reunions before so much attrition started taking a toll on our members . Anita and I really enjoyed the re unions and seeing old friends and making new ones.I hope everyone who is going has a safe trip to and from and a great time at the reunion.

Just received an email from Allen and Marylin Holt that due to health issues they will not be joining us for the Reunion as planned. Hope the health issues get better and we see them next year! We will miss them!
