Hey guys,
Received a phone call a few minutes ago from Don Ramsay's wife to let me know he fell recently. Had to have surgery and will be in rehab for about 3 weeks. She said he is doing OK, but will be out of commission for a while. I told her I would post a note for the guys and ask everyone to keep them in their thoughts and prayers. I'll check with Perry to see if we can post his address. If so please think about sending him a get well card.
I'll let you know if I hear anything else.

Anyone who would like to make the meeting at the V.A.Hospital they are held quarterly.there was a directive that the town hall meeting will be held at every local V.A. Hospital to give the veterans the opportunity to ask questions of the senior staff.i would advise for you to call your local V.A. to find out when they are going to have their next meeting.

Ken, We have at least one guy from the 513th when they were attached to the 589th. I also know someone from the 84th Eng Bn who knows some of the 513th guys. If you want his contact, send me an email and I'll get you contact info. Were you with the 513th when it was attached to the 589th?

WOW! A whole month since the 2014 Reunion and things are going well for the 589th. We are making progress on the things we talked about at the meeting and still keeping up with grand-kids and kids. Hope you are all doing well and making plans for the 2015 Reunion already. Take a look at the website and you will see we already have about 10 folks signed up already. You can also make your hotel reservations when you register for the Reunion. I hope everyone has recovered from the good time we all had, I know I stayed up later than I am used to each night and I had a great time again this year. What is your Dad's full name and when was his tour of duty in Vietnam? Also what Company was he with?

Bob Miller. Sorry to learn of Linda's surgery, but happy to hear she is doing well. I keep pushing back on the thought our generation is reaching those "golden years", but the evidence to the contrary is becoming overwhelming. The battles we fight today are quite different than those we fought 45 years ago, but the consequences and the cost of failure are none-the-less severe. Congratulations on winning another battle. Please remember that as always, your Brothers are standing with you.

You have both been in my thoughts and prayers since I read your post. So glad to hear Linda is home and her surgery went well. I know the rehab will be difficult so we will continue to have her in our prayers for the future as well.

Will thanks for prayers. Linda is home,piece of vertebrae broke off and was wedged against nerve causing all the pain.couple of months of recoup and rehab then she should be up and ready to go! Thanks again for prayers and Welcome home!!
