I want to remind everyone coming to this years reunion in Branson to bring an item for our Raffle/Auction event. Proceeds will go to cover any additional expenses we have in Branson and the balance will be deposited to our 589th Treasury.

Wanted to give you all a heads-up that our PX, Membership, and HOF Donations pages are all back up and active.

The HOF and Membership donations pages are pretty much straight forward. Only CHECKS are be accepted at this time.

The PX has 11 different items to choose from, much as before. However we will NOT be offering any clothing items for sale online.

For the PX items simply enter the number of each item you want to order beside that item, add up the dollar amount for all items and enter it in the "Total dollar amount for all items ordered" box. Fill in the form with your shipping address and other info, enter 589 in the box as indicated and submit it.

In an effort to avoid collecting shipping, we have rounded up the price of many of these items.

Write a check for the total amount due to: "589th Engineers", and send it to:

was in anchorage alaska last week from a cruise for our 50th anniversary and realized that 54 years ago I flew into anchorage on my way to the Nam! Boy,things have really changed since then. I must be getting older! met and talked to a couple of Nam vets who were on the cruise too. We all had a lot in common,,,Welcome Home!

Visiting with an old friend who happens to be a Nam Vet also and I was showing him our website and all the good about it. Also told him how much we all enjoy our reunions. He does not have them with his outfit but really liked what we do.

Hope we get more of you guys to sign up soon as we now have 21 sign ups. Go ahead and register and let your buddies know you will be there! Love you all Brothers and see you there!!!!

Dennis, so sorry to hear that! Please pass along my condolences to the family! Gerry was a very nice guy!

I just heard that one of our honorary members, Gerry Goodman has passed away. He was the brother of Norman Goodman from C company’s EM platoon. Gerry attended many of the earlier reunions and many knew him.
