My thanks to brother, John Miller for helping me locate a long lost comrade, Johnny M. Sessions who I served with in D company 68-9. I haven't heard from Johnny in 45 years. The last I heard from Johnny was when I was In the hospital after being medevac'd out of D co. I wrote Johnny from the hospital, and told him that I was out of cigarettes, and my pay hadn't caught up with me. Johnny sent me $10.00. I figured with 5% interest for 45 years. I owe Johnny $280.00.
I am planning a trip to go visit him when the airlines offer the cheep flights after the holidays. This has been a great day for me. Thanks again John Miller.

Joined unit at Fort Hood prior to deployment via troop train and US General John Pope. Located for my tour at base camp near Ahn Khe. Nicknamed Babyface but was one of the oldest in my company. E5 Returned to Battle Creek, MI and spent remainder of enlistment at Gary, Indiana at Nike Base and during 1968 Chicago Democratic Convention. Working with VA Hospital.

Hello everyone from the 589th we have 34 days till we land in Branson and have a great time baby sitting "C" Co. and telling stories. There are half a dozen new comers this year can't wait to see them. I have made 29 calls in three days and had good conversations with them. I also remind you to start praying for traveling grace. We have people that drive or fly thousands of miles to have a great time. Only 34 days. SEE YA!!

OK this Amish lady was driving down the road in her buggie when a police man pulled her over ,he said your reflector is broken she said ill have my husband fix it right away , then he said i notice one of your rains is wrapped around your horses testicle and the lady said ill have my husband look at the too. when she got home she told her husband and he fixed the tail light , she told her husband the officer said there is also some thing wrong with the emergency break . :super: :clap:
