WOW!!! Only 44 days until we meet again! We have reached 80 Members and Honorary Members signed up so far and we expect more. Be sure to look at the "Who's Coming" tab under Reunions 2014 to see if your buddy has signed up yet. If he has not then get on the phone and tell him to get going. Tell him to give me a call if needs help! Can't hardly wait to see you all and we are working hard to make sure this reunion is as good as past ones. We hope the Golf Scramble will help so don't forget to let Jim Swick know if you want to play or just rent a cart to ride along and watch! Won't be long now! See you all soon!

Thanks for paving the roads around Pleiku. I was with C Co., 1st Bn. 3rd Bde, 4thID 1968-69. One of my squad mentioned about the incident when going from FSB Oasis to Dak To. The company was travelling on flatbed trucks with sandbag protection. The NVA ambushed the convoy north of Pleiku. Boy, were they surprised when an Infantry company opened fire on them. Thank you for your service

Looking at Al Cochran and saw the ones where Bill (Bolow) Bowman building fell down. Had a GOOD laugh out of it again. That was a funny site.

I was a member of D/589th Engr Bn when it was one of the Basic/AIT Battalions at FLW, MO in 1987. I am very happy to find this page with so much of the unit's history. Thank you.

To Jerry Goodman - us farmers in Wisconsin were poor folk. We could not afford to buy libations in containers. But, we figured out that if you added molasses and sugar and yeast in the old farm grain bucket, the resulting stuff wasn't half bad. :toast:
