I am so glad to see the positive comments on the website Perry has built for us. I believe it must be one of the best in the country for a bunch of Nam Vets like us. I spoke to Ralph Downing and he said he was amazed at the work Perry did and wants me to be sure to thank him! So, Perry on behalf of those that have not seen this website yet "Thank you for doing so well for us again". I am sure once it alive to all the comments will continue in a positive manner! From the time you started with an idea to get together with a few guys to where we are today, all of us can never thank you enough. Many of us look forward to each day with a better outlook on life for what you have given us by meeting old friends again and the opportunity to let us heal some more. To hear "Welcome Home" means so much more since I became a member I am sure they are many more that feel that way also! It is with great honor that I was elected to carry on in your footsteps although I cannot fill your shoes. Having you has the COB (Chairman of the Board) is one of the best votes the Association ever took. Again thank you from us all! Welcome Home Brother!

Bob Hickox asked if there is a way to upload your avatar. I don’t know what an avatar is, so I am not sure I would ever want to upload one. How would the average 589th member know if they have one of those avatars? I am assuming that if you have an avatar but are not able to upload it, you can always go to the doctor and get a shot.

Perry. Great job on the website. Your dedication to this project continues to amaze me. I have been attempting to give the site a workout and have managed to kick a few glitches out of the tall grass. However, what I have determined is that the glitches are of my own making. Between my office and home, I use a couple of different versions of Internet Explorer (IE), which seem to handle page applications differently. For example, I may have a problem on a page using one computer, but the problem disappears on the other computer. It is simply a reality that different versions of IE handle applications differently and there is not much we can do about it. In the past, as I have updated my version of IE to fix one problem, I have typically created another. It looks to me like you have done everything possible to make sure the site operates well on a number of different platforms; it has to be up to us to work out our own little glitches. Although I certainly wouldn’t mind if you fixed all my problems for me, I would rather have you start by moving some snow.

Perry. I see that we all have generic avatars so does this mean that sometime in the future we will be able to have avatars of our choosing ?
