My wife and I had the opportunity to stop by The Stone Castle hotel in Branson last week. It was very cool to see "Bell" on display in the lobby with a placard stating it is on loan from the 589th Engr. Bn. and can be used by Veteran groups to honor their fallen comrades. It is prominently displayed in the hotel lobby and is an impressive display. We spoke with Rachael from the hotel and they are excited to see us again this year for the reunion. Their is a new sports bar and food establishment next door so you can walk to get something eat or watch your college team play football. If you have not signed up for the reunion yet now is a good time as final plans will need to be made soon. We have elections this year so sign up and come and vote so you have a say in what we do. Looking forward to seeing you all there and having a good time with all. See you soon!

I seem to able to access the various parts of the web site without any problems. Your internet explorer software may be acting up. At one time I would have suggested the VC may be behind the problem, but I don't think they have the capabilities for that YET!

I had the opportunity yesterday to meet with Bill Widdel of C company 67-68. I met him at the Ametrican Legion Hawthorne California. He does not have a computer so I tried to bring him up to date on our association. He still keeps in touch with some of his C company buddies. I dont think he will be attending any reunions unless they are on the west coast. He is a stay at home type of guy. He sends his regards.
