Also take time to thank all 1st Responders to include Fire persons, Police persons, Ambulance personnel, Doctors and Nurses, They all provide a service to us that we are glad they do but hope we never need them,

Hey Bruce, regarding your questions about D Company 67-68 and the places we worked, If you get Dennie and Larry's book 'Engineers at War in Vietnam' it has all of the information you are seeking and that we have forgotten. It's available on this site from the PX. In short we landed and stayed briefly at Cha Rang then moved to Cu Lam Nam base camp, then Vinh Thanh Special Forces base for Air field construction, then Camp Radcliff at An Khe former 1st Cav base also ROK hospital at An Son. I'm not sure of what happened at Kon Tum as after April 68 I was home thanking God for a safe return .

We have welcomed new member Gary Cossey to the 589th Association. Gary came to this year's reunion but we did not get his contact info there. But Fritz was able to find his phone number and passed it along to me. I spoke to Gary for quite a while yesterday and welcomed him to the association. Gary was a crane operator in C Co. and is now listed on the C Co Membership page.

Anyone interested in his, or any of our Member's, contact info can fill out the contact request form by clicking the link at the top of this page or any of the membership pages.

We left Branson about 6:30 a,m. centrl time and got home about 8:30 p,m, Eastern.
A great reunion, with a lot of heartfelt emotion and a lot of fun to.
found out for sure Nick and I were on the same flight home 54 years ago and did not know it until the reunion.
It meant a lot to Anita and I to have our son Jason and his wife Michelle drive us to the reunion and meet our friends and attend the Memorial .
I think they learned a lot about our generation and the way it was back then.
This year was special and I hope next year will be even more so.
Missed those who could not attend, hope we can all make it next year.
Tommy and Anita
