Does anyone know the details of the death of Freddie Sherlin? The EM platoon of D Co. was ambushed on the work site and SSG Jessie Tyler was killed by a rocket. I see on the list of fallen that Sherlin is listed as being killed on the same day. I do not remember a second casulity. Can you help my memory?

Jerry Nichols...just to let you know...we have booked the Stonecastle...I don't like being above the 2nd floor, so won't be in group of rooms 589th has, from what they said..but at least in the same facility...if seeing you in person effects me the way talking by phone did..it should be quite a wekkend...Good wishes to all

I am sad to report that Jerry Waters has passed away. His wife informed me that he left this world Sunday morning at 9:20 am while in the VA hospital Gainsville, Fla. I have lost a great friend and brother in arms.

I don't remember the name, but there was a Cpt. that asked me if I had calculated how much explosives to use to blow up a bridge just before I was blowing it up...I said I didn't have time to calculate and blow it up, dropping it perfectly..he didn't say a word, just got in his jeep and left..will never forget..don't remember if his name was Lewis, though.
