Happy New Year To All! Bob's story sent a chill right through me, guard duty in Viet-Nam was some scary shit, your mind plays tricks with you no matter which way you looked, something always seemed to be moving in the darkness. No matter how brave you tried to be. Most of us were 18 and 19 years old and we had to grow up very quick over there. Keep up the writing Bob and anyone who says they were not afraid over there is full of shit! Thank you Bob, you did hit the nail on the head.

I read Bob's story and related with it completely, as we probably all do. It was hard to read because we hate to dredge up the past and bring back the things that we have tried to repress for all these years, but I think we must get them out in the open. My hope is that we can gain some insight into why we have been the men we are and help us to move forward in the time we have left.

Bob Spencers story "RAIN" is a must read. It really is a memory joger. It is just like this all took place yesterday rather than over 40 years ago. HAPPY NEW YEAR, Looking forward to our next reunion in Branson.

Just finished reading Bob Spencers short story "Rain". It was very accurate , those feelings are there for sure in myself, and it is a good thing to see them getting plowed up where the sun can get to them, as apposed to plowed down . It's alot easier for me to know these things can be talked about. God bless you Bob for your help and your sharing.
