Hey Steven, remember the river that we got our water from? Well, it was full of "run off" from up in the mountains. By the way, I was wounded in a ambush up the road from our LZ in Jan. 71. do you remember me? Welcome Home brother!

Steve: Don't let anyone shoot a liine of crap about not being exposed to agent orange. You drink the water and breath the air. BROTHER you were expoosed just like everyone else. Don't give up, if you need help on getting your disabilty, go see the VVA OR VFW OR AMERICAM LEGION OR AMVET. They will help you and WELCOME HOME BROTHER.

I was in B Co. from jan.69 to Oct. 70. One of my guys told me about 20 years ago that acording to the Pentagon other than the DMZ and the Delta, we were in the next highest area for Agent orange.

Was in Co B, 589th April 70 - April 71 applied recently for benefits. Have dealt with stress, nightmares etc and flashbacks for 40 years and always was told just to toughen up and deal with it...so never applied for anything always thought there were Veterans more deserving than myself that needed those benefits. The 589th website has enlightened me and want to thank you all for your input. I was told (off the record) that we Co B, 589th was not exposed to Agent Orange. Thanks for all the information and links.....didnt know we were called "Mountain Movers" but know now....I was young 18 and scared to death while there.
