Still reeling from the reunion. Can't believe I have so many new brothers and sisters-in-law. I feel so honored and blessed. Hi all Mountin Movers: I was on of the first to help start up the 589th in Fort Hood. We all got on a train to Oakland, CA and then th USS General John Pope. That was a long ride. Was with the 589th till I ETS out of the Army the end of Oct 1967. I was in HQ Company. Van

My son Cpt. Matt Morrish, U.S.M.C. left yesterday for his third combat tour, this time in Afghanistan. I will be giving thanks with family on Thursday. I hope all my 589th. brothers have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
