Jim, You bet, all of the those on the 589th Member page have been contacted within the last year or so and are members of the 589th Association. I count 25 as of today. The rank they held while with the 589th in Vietnam is displayed with their First name. Our NCO's with rank higher that E-6 are also included.

I remember we were just finishing up the pass, and you were pounding bridge supports into the new bridge leading into Song Pha. I came back from R&R and we pulled the camp down and hit the LST on the South China Sea for Three days.

thats great perry they dont live that far away and they both did help to start up the 589th way back in 66. i remember we dident have any body chewing our asses out or anything, no more basic , it was great.then after several mounths of operating they decided to sent us to ait , now that was a hoot , thanks brpther and welcome home

Carp, While our by-laws do not provide for membership of anyone that did not serve in the 589th or attached units in Vietnam, that does not prevent them from coming to our reunion. We welcome anyone that has a connection in anyway to our Association so on behalf of the Association Officers and myself, please feel free to invite them. Perry

its a little late but i have friends thar were with the 589th when we started it in texas and they dident go to nam , are they invited to the reunion also ???? they feel that they arent because this is the 589th viet-nam . can some one answer that for me and i will let them know , thank you and welcome home brothers
