Hey Kenneth, What year was you at LZ Last Chance? I was there in 1970/71 until I got wounded in a ambush on the road. I ran the 10 ton roller when out working on the road. Welcome home!

LUKE - of course we remember you - Jinkins, Newell, Cluth, Butler, Stafford, Brown, Goff, Cowie, Clark, Sweenie, many others. Most of us were in AIT with you as well as being in the Earthmoving Platoon of Company C in Song Pha and Quang Tri Province. Call anytime (leave a message since I don't answer the phone until I know who is calling). Most important, come to the reunion. It appears that about half of the Earthmoving Platoon will be there. Most of us will arrive on September 30.

Cha Rang Valley was our original headquarters. Then, we moved to Song Pha. There was a big water filtering plant at the top of the valley, and we were at the base of that valley. I am really happy I found this website, and I hope to get in touch with my buddies Russell Marsh, Lieutenant Jolly, and Lieutenant Morris.

Looking for someone who remembers Capt. Atkins (who I believe was promoted to major) and 1st Sgt Smith Co. D An Khe and Don Duong, and 1Lt Cable Co. D Don Duong. Also Charles Smith Co. D same two places he was in the EM Platoon. At that time he lived in Amerillo Texas. He and I arrived RVN same time and we both PCS'd out the same day in April '69.
