Let's hear some stories about how you were welcomed home from Nam. I went to a dance and asked this pretty gal to dance. As we moved around the dance floor she asked what kind of work I did. I replied, "I'm not working right now. I just got back from Vietnam." She immediately stopped in the middle of the dance floor with a look on her face as if she expected me to pull out a hand grenade, turned and walked away without another word. That taught me to keep my mouth shut about Nam.

Just looked at the calendar and realized we are only about 6 months from the Reunion! I have it on my calendar, do you! Hope to see you all there!

You are on the money about our generation. I think its called over the hill because you pick up speed going down the other side. Where did the last fifty plus years go?

Perry, I appreciate all your hard work and diligence on keeping this website working. I sign in almost daily and enjoy seeing all the new posts. All of us old Nam Vets are a dying breed, literally, so I appreciate reading any posts that prove we are still alive and kicking!

Does any one remember date etc the time when one of ARVN soldiers station on the hilltop west side of LZ last chance perimeter over looking our unit and the asphalt pit came down the hill and climbed through the perimeter and in doing so activated our mine filed killing him.

Secondly:
Does anyone know the dates etc when the Bde ? Sargent Major came out to LZ Last chance and one night when he was there observed and then had all the local prostitutes rounded up and held in an connex
