2021 Branson Reunion update.

Hello Brothers.

It's been very difficult to nail down our dates for the 2021 reunion with the Stone Castle. I started this booking process back in early 2019 and even then we could not get the Stonehenge and Knights of the Round Table conference rooms for any dates in September. We might be able to get just the Stonehenge and it would be the second week in Sept, Sunday-Wednesday. But even that is not concrete yet. Jay, the group sales manager we have dealt with for so many years, passed away suddenly last year and they have an all new group sales staff. Not to worry though we'll get something booked for Branson next year. Stay tuned for more updates.

Hello Brothers, I know it is along time away but I was talking to Ralph Downing, good old C Company boy, and we agreed we are both going to be in Branson in 2021 for the Reunion. Lord willing that we are healthy enough and this Covid is over..So I looked and the registration form is there so I signed up. Hope we can set a record for attendance as I find we are all getting older, I will be 74 when we get there! So I went ahead and filled everything out and hit submit. I guess I am too early as it did not submit and the payment did pop up, don't rush Perry there is plenty of time. I was just planning ahead! Hope too see all you Brothers there! Love you all!

Doctors visit today resulted in good news. Not cancer. Just follow up every two weeks for blood tests. Thankful !

I mailed a card to Willys family on behalf of all his brothers in the 589th

I'm very saddened to hear of Willie's passing. He was a good soldier, a character, and had a great heart. He found and recruited many D Company association members, including me. Prayers to his family especially his wife Patsy.

Was thinking of Willie Yesterday and of his age and still being with us. Was glad to have gotten to meet and know him through the 589th. Wish we had known his health issues. Prayers for the family. Please keep us in your prayers . New health issues ! Plus side if any two new claims to the VA. Agent Orange just keeps on delivering !! Best wishes and prayers everyday for all .

We have lost another long standing member. Willie Bonney
passed away last Sunday.

Does anyone remember what the cav. Unit was north of us at LZ? Last Chance or Paradise Lost, and why was our LZ name changed??
