Some more good news-Lord knows we need it hers.
Yesterday while at the Jacksonville, FL VA Clinic for an appt, I walked by a guy, made eye contact and told him Welcome Home Brother. He took a close look at my hat and said I know that outfit. Used to haul stuff for them out of Qui Nhon with my transportation unit. He said I remember you guys had a lot of big equipment and we also hauled construction material for you. I think he said it was the 511 Tran Co.
I've been wearing that black cap for 10 years now hoping to someday run into someone who knew the outfit or better yet belonged to us. I told him to hop on to the guestbook and say Hi.

Finally some Good News!!

Final arrangements are being made for a Mini-Reunion in Lexington, KY to be held Sept 26th thru the 29th. And also for a Mini-Reunion in Hershey, PA to be held Sept 5th thru the 8th. Contracts with the Lexington Holliday Inn Express and the Hershey Red Roof Inn have been signed. ONLY forty rooms have been blocked for each hotel so don't miss out.

The Lex Mini is already on the Website and the Hershey Mini will be up soon so pick one or go to both... we ain't gettin any younger!!!

Left Vietnam 51 years ago today. Very thankful for full life and wonderful family and new and old friends. God is good ! So sad to find out more old friends have left this world. Prayers for the family's.

Jim Weaver was one of our great C CO guys, he will be missed by all of our Brothers! My thoughts and prayers are with Lois and the family. Rest in Peace Brother we all love you!

I spoke with Jim not long ago and he was still the Jim we all knew. He knew he would not make it to another Reunion but definitely enjoyed seeing everyone especially his "Boat People" Brothers!

The rest of you guys stay healthy so we can see you in 2021!

Just got a call from Terry Story letting us know that James Weaver passed away just a couple hours ago.

So sad! A really good guy that I always looked forward to seeing at our reunions. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Family of Roy Johnson. Another Brother that we will all miss. I enjoyed talking with Roy when I met him, did not know him well but he is a 589th Brother!

I wish this would stop but I guess with our ages it is to be expected.
