Over the years I have found Veterans to be a great bunch of guys and gals who experienced trials and tribulations that gave us a very special bond! This bond has many similarities that run strong between us, especially Patriotism and love of Country! Another that I think we mostly agree on is that we can say what we want to say and if it offends it is our right! So with that said I want to wish you all and your families a very "Merry Christmas" and Happy New Years. Please be safe and enjoy your time with your family and friends. Love to you all!

So sorry to hear of COL Snoke's passing.

I have just returned from FL where I was paying my respects to a dear friend and classmate at his funeral.

We will keep you all posted on the services planned for COL Snoke as we learn more. I'm also waiting to hear back from his grandson, Jarret, on what his grandfather's final words to the 589th are and how he would like them disseminated.
Stay tuned for more...

We have learned that services for Col Snoke will be delayed until sometime in the spring.
We will keep in touch with the family and when details are set will advise the members.
Maybe we can put together a mini reunion at the same time for fellowship and pay tribute to Col Snoke.

Sorry to hear about COL Snoke passing. With his place in the Battalion is it appropriate for the Battalion to send a nice bouquet or grave blanket? I think we should!

Dennie, Thank you for passing along the note from COL Snoke's grandson. I am saddened to hear of his medical condition. I never had the pleasure of serving under him, but I have had many conversations with him during and after the formation of our Association. He was always informative and supportive of our efforts to reconnect our 589th Brothers. I will get a card out to him today.

Listen to COL Snoke's interview with Dennie on the History tab for a little insight to him.
