What a great Mini-Reunion in Lexington, KY! This was a super location with lots to see and do. The horses, racetrack, countryside, aviation museum, and bourbon distillery tours were all beautiful, fun and very informative. The local people were friendly and welcoming too, especially those that helped us locate the nearest KFC. It was a good question Don!

...too much to say here, so continued on the Latest News Page.

Since I have a little more time these days I wanted to ask another question about cu lam nam. Does anybody recall what the mystery outfit was to the north of base camp a little ways on the same side of the road? My memory is foggy on this subject but I seem to remember that there was no markings on equipment or personal. Thanks

Since most of the Boise mini-reunion were from C Company, the stories were undoubtedly both good and factual. Laugh

What a great mini reunion in Boise. I knew no one when I arrived. I was in HHC during 1970. Most of the group was from C company in 1966-1968. It was really interesting to hear there stories. It was a great group and very welcoming.

I second the "Hats off to the organizers, Goodrows and Van Zelphs"

Since this is not the place to discuss certain things what is the possibility of having a page where we have to sign in to use? This would give all of us the chance to state our opinions for all to see and no one outside the 589th could as it would be password protected, I think it would be a good idea and probably well used. The Guest Book could then be used for Guest. What do you guys think?

Glad to see the Boise Mini was a good time!!!!

I must agree that although the mini reunion in boise was small, everyone present had a good time. There were several brothers from the west that I had not seen since nam. Hats off to the organizers, Goodrows and Van Zelphs.

Just returned from Boise, Idaho Mini reunion and what a great event. Got to meet brothers from the west coast that we have never met before and what interesting people they were. Enjoyed hearing their stories and with the smaller groups everyone was engaged. Thanks to the ladies and especially Christine Goodman for setting up with the hotel and keeping us on schedule for our varied activities. we had a blast and an unforgettable event. See you in Lexington, Ky.
