Bob burden, I think you might have been my replacement in 68. Were you a sgt E-5? I don't know why I did not meet you at Fort Hood. Maybe next Time.

I was at the Ft. Hood reunion and that about it for me this year.

Bob Burden, you got there just before I left.Are you coming to the reunion in ky next month. If you do we will talk over old times.

I was in the Delta Co. first platoon first squad and for a short had the platoon. March 68 – March 69.

Bob Burden, what company were you in. I was in Delta Company. 1966 - APR 1968. What a time I had those 2 years. If I'm had to do over I would do it again.

I was out there first thing that Morning with the CO. but I have no pictures.

Paul, I remember a bridge getting a big hole blown in it just east of an kya. The VC killed all of the 173rd guards except one. My PLT had to patch the hole in the bridge. I was ready to get the hell out of that place. I done my second tour south of Long Ben with the 92nd. It was near as bad as the 1st one was. I didn't like much doing 3 tours. I think the Army like for me to be in Nam.Take care

Willie, just missed serving with you.I got in country the 23rd of March 68.The bridges were still being messed with after you left.I have a picture that I can send of Al Carlisle and myself on a bridge site June or so 68

you don't have me listed as a boat person.i was one of the orignal members of the unit at ft hood.check with capt ed marshall, he had the privlige of giving me a summery court martal.please update me in delta thanks jim
