Yesterday I was picking up medical supplies in St.Charles Va. and I had my Vietnam Veteran Hat on and the nurse told me her dad was a Viet vet so talking with her her dad was in Bco 589th Eng. in 70/71. I told her that I was in Aco 589th at the same time. His name was Ronnie Lawson if any of y'all recognize his name. She told me that he passed away in 2020 during the covid garbage from blacklung and agent orange complications. She was sad because they wouldn't let but 10 people come for the service. Her and husband and her sister and husband and 5 kids between them plus Ronnie came from a large family which couldn't attend. She said he got a flag and that was it, no 21 gun salute or taps.These are her words.(my dad served his country and couldn't get a proper funeral but the country idolized the criminal Floyd and it really hurt. She said i'm not  a prejudice person but it still hurts.) We talked for a while longer but I had to go but I see her everyday cause that's one of my stops on my route.If any of y'all remember Ron let me know and i'll pass it on to her. thanks Brothers and welcome home!

I have unfortunately came across the passing of 4 more of our 589th Brothers and added them to the Latest News Page article "Another Good Soldier Died Today"

Robert L. Burkett-A Company
and

I also suspect we have lost Lynn Robinson A Company but can't find anything to support it.

I got an email from David Sciara just minutes ago informing us of COL Romayne Schroder's passing on 12-3-2023. I have included him in the recently added list of deceased Brothers on the latest News page. May They all Rest in Peace!

I received an email from Randle Churchill's wife yesterday informing me of Randle's passing. His obit has been added to the Latest News Page article detailing the list of our recently discovered Brother's we have lost.

May they Rest in Eternal Peace.
